This bespoke mouthpiece was commissioned by the President of the Calgary St. Andrews’ Society to replace the damaged mouthpiece for his heirloom Henderson bagpipes which had been gifted to him by his grandfather. We used what remained of the original Ivory bulb as a pattern to re-create an identical replica out of artificial ivory. The century old engraved & hallmarked Sterling slide was transferred to the new MP and a new stem tip was turned from Delrin to match the original tip which had not aged well.
